زين تجدد تعاونها مع مؤسسة الأميرة عالية لدعم استدامة محمية المأوى

عمّان، 24 تشرين الثاني 2025: بحضور سمو الأميرة عالية بنت الحسين، جدّدت شركة زين الأردن وللعام الخامس اتفاقية التعاون التي تجمعها مع مؤسسة الأميرة عالية، لمواصلة دعمها لمحمية المأوى للطبيعة والبرية، وذلك استمراراً لنهجها في دعم المبادرات البيئية وتعزيز جهود حماية الطبيعة في المملكة.

ووقّع الاتفاقية  سمو الأميرة عالية بنت الحسين، والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة زين الأردن فهد الجاسم،  بحضور عدد من المدراء التنفيذيين من كلا الجانبين وذلك في المقر الرئيسي لشركة زين.

ويأتي تجديد الاتفاقية انسجاماً مع استراتيجية شركة زين الأردن في إدارة الاستدامة 2025–2030 والتزامها الراسخ بحماية البيئة والحِفاظ على الموارد الطبيعية والحد من التدهور البيئي، كما تأتي في إطار نهج الشركة الهادف إلى نشر الوعي بأهمية الحفاظ على الحياة البرية وحماية الأنواع المهددة بالانقراض وبما يضمن استمرار التوازن الطبيعي والحفاظ على الإرث البيئي للأجيال القادمة.

وترسّخ هذه الاتفاقية مكانة شركة زين كشريك رئيسي في تبنّي وتطبيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة عبر تعزيز الجهود المشتركة مع مؤسسة الأميرة عالية لدعم محمية المأوى للطبيعة والبرية باعتبارها أحد أبرز المواقع البيئية في المملكة ونموذجاً وطنياً لحماية التنوع الحيوي، إذ لا يقتصر أثر المحمية على الجانب البيئي فحسب بل يمتد ليشمل دعم المجتمع المحلي من خلال المساهمة في خلق فُرص عمل لأبناء المناطق المحيطة بالمحمية.

وستواصل شركة زين ومن خلال هذه الاتفاقية تقديم دعمها التقني واللوجستي للمحمية، عبر تزويدها بكاميرات مراقبة حديثة للحد من السلوكيات السلبية تجاه الغابات والحيوانات وإعداد تقارير دورية تُقَيّم الأثر البيئي والاجتماعي للمحمية، كما توفر الشركة خدمة الإنترنت اللاسلكي مجاناً لكافة زوار المحمية لضمان تجربة تفاعلية تثري زيارتهم وتساهم في الترويج للمحمية.

يُذكر بأن الشراكة بين شركة زين الأردن ومؤسسة الأميرة عالية تمتد لأعوام عديدة وتشكل نموذجاً للتعاون المستدام الذي يعكس التزام الطرفين بخدمة البيئة والمجتمع، فقد شاركت عيادة زين المجانية المتنقلة للأطفال في حملة لرعاية العيون وصحة البصر التي نُفذت في منطقة دير علا بالتعاون مع منظمة “ون سايت”، حيث شهدت الحملة فحص أكثر من 1074 شخصاً وتقديم الخدمات الطبية اللازمة لهم ضمن جهود مشتركة تهدف إلى دعم المجتمعات المحلية وتعزيز فرص حصولها على خدمات صحية متخصصة.

وتقع محمية المأوى للطبيعة والبرية على مساحة 1,100 دونم من جبال مدينة سوف شمال موقع جرش الأثري، وهي موطن دائم لتنفيذ برامج حماية وإعادة تأهيل الحيوانات البرية والتي يتم مصادرتها من قبل الجهات المحلية المختصة واستناداً إلى معايير الاتحاد الدولي لحماية الطبيعة ( (IUCN والتشريعات البيئية المحلية، حيث تُعنى محمية المأوى بحماية الغابات والمناطق الحرجية وتوفير بيئة آمنة للحيوانات البرية إلى جانب تطوير البرامج التوعوية الموجّهة للمجتمع المحلي.

Zain Renews Cooperation with Princess Alia Foundation to Support the Sustainability of Al-Ma’wa for Nature and Wildlife

Amman, 24 November 2025: In the presence of HRH Princess Alia bint Al Hussein, Zain Jordan has renewed, for the fifth consecutive year, its cooperation agreement with the Princess Alia Foundation to continue supporting Al-Ma’wa for Nature and Wildlife Reserve, reaffirming the company’s long-standing commitment to environmental initiatives and nature conservation efforts across the Kingdom.

The agreement was signed by HRH Princess Alia bint Al Hussein and Fahad Al Jasem, CEO of Zain Jordan, in the presence of several senior executives from both sides at the company’s headquarters.

The renewal of the agreement aligns with Zain Jordan’s 2025–2030 Sustainability Strategy, which reflects the company’s steadfast commitment to protecting the environment, preserving natural resources, and reducing environmental degradation. It also supports Zain’s efforts to raise awareness about the importance of wildlife conservation and the protection of endangered species to help maintain natural balance and safeguard environmental heritage for future generations.

This partnership further strengthens Zain’s position as a key supporter in advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through its collaboration with the Princess Alia Foundation to support Al-Ma’wa Reserve—one of Jordan’s leading environmental sites and a national model for biodiversity conservation-. Beyond its environmental impact, the reserve also contributes to empowering local communities by helping create job opportunities for residents of surrounding areas.

Under the renewed agreement, Zain will continue to provide technical and logistical support to the reserve, including supplying advanced surveillance cameras to help reduce harmful practices affecting forests and wildlife, and preparing periodic reports to assess the reserve’s environmental and social impact. Zain will also continue offering free wireless internet services to visitors, enhancing their overall experience and supporting efforts to promote the reserve.

The longstanding partnership between Zain Jordan and Princess Alia Foundation represents a model of sustainable cooperation reflecting the shared commitment of both parties to serving the environment and the community. As part of this collaboration, Zain Free Mobile Clinic for Children participated in an eye-care campaign conducted in Deir Alla area in cooperation with OneSight, providing examinations to more than 1,074 individuals and delivering the necessary medical services as part of joint efforts to support local communities and enhance access to specialized healthcare.

Al-Ma’wa Wildlife Reserve spans 1,100 dunums in the highlands of Souf, north of the Jerash archaeological site. It serves as a permanent center for implementing programs to protect and rehabilitate wildlife confiscated by local authorities, in accordance with IUCN standards and national environmental regulations. The reserve focuses on protecting forests and woodland areas, providing safe habitats for wildlife, and offering educational programs that raise awareness among local communities.
