عمّان، 21 تشرين الأول 2025: في إطار شراكتها المُمتدة مع الجمعية العلمية الملكية منذ 18 عاماً؛ جدّدت شركة زين الأردن دعمها للمشروع الوطني لمراقبة نوعية المياه عن بُعد لعامين إضافيين، والذي تُنفذّه لصالح المجلس الأعلى للعلوم والتكنولوجيا منذ العام 2003.

ويأتي هذا التجديد انطلاقاً من حرص زين الأردن على المحافظة على المياه في المملكة لضمان استدامتها للأجيال القادمة من خلال تسخير وتوظيف التكنولوجيا لدعم إدارة هذا المورد الثمين بكفاءة ومسؤولية عاليتيين، تأكيداً لالتزام الشركة الراسخ ودورها في حماية المياه باعتبارها مورداً نادراً في المملكة، وتماشياً مع الهدف السابع ” المياه النظيفة والنظافة الصحية” والهدف السابع عشر”عقد الشراكات لتحقيق الأهداف” من أهداف التنمية المُستدامة التي تُطبقها الشركة في كافة مُبادراتها وبرامجها في مجال إدارة الاستدامة.

وستواصل شركة زين الأردن توفير خدمات نقل البيانات وخدمة “Real Static IP”   لـ13 محطة رصد ميدانية موزعة على أهم المصادر المائية السطحية في الأردن وتشمل نهر اليرموك ونهر الأردن وقناة الملك عبدالله وسيل الزرقاء، إلى جانب مدخل ومخرج سد الملك طلال ومخرج سد كفرنجة، حيث تتيح هذه الخدمات متابعة نوعية المياه في الوقت الفعلي من خلال أنظمة أوتوماتيكية تجمع عينات المياه باستمرار وتجري التحاليل الفيزيائية والكيميائية عليها وترسل النتائج بشكل لحظي إلى قاعدة بيانات مركزية تُستخدم لدعم قرارات الجهات المختصة ومتابعة جودة الموارد المائية بدقة وكفاءة عاليتين.

ومن الجدير بالذكر أن هذا المشروع، منذ عام 2010، حاصل على الاعتماد الدولي من قبل (United Kingdom Accreditation Services – UKAS) وفقاً لمواصفة اعتماد المختبرات العالمية (ISO 17025)، ويُعد هذا الاعتماد الأول عالمياً لمثل هذا النوع من المشاريع، ويعتبر المشروع الوطني لمراقبة نوعية المياه عن بعد من المبادرات الحيوية التي تدعم جهود وزارات البيئة والصحة والمياه والري والزراعة، إلى جانب شركة مياهنا، بإشراف اللجنة التوجيهية التي تترأسها وزارة البيئة.

Zain Jordan Renews Its Support for the National Remote Water Quality Monitoring Project

Amman, October 21, 2025: As part of its long-standing partnership with the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) for 18 years, Zain Jordan has renewed its support for the National Remote Water Quality Monitoring project for an additional two years. The project has been implemented by the RSS on behalf of the Higher Council for Science and Technology since 2003.

This renewal reflects Zain Jordan’s commitment to preserving the Kingdom’s water resources to ensure their sustainability for future generations. By harnessing technology to enhance the efficient and responsible management of this vital resource, the company reaffirms its dedication to environmental protection. The initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 6 Clean Water and Sanitation, and Goal 17 Partnerships for the Goals, which Zain integrates across all its sustainability programs and initiatives.

Zain Jordan will continue to provide data transmission services and “Real Static IP” connectivity to 13 field monitoring stations located across key surface water sources in Jordan, including the Yarmouk River, Jordan River, King Abdullah Canal, Zarqa River, as well as the inlet and outlet of King Talal Dam and Kafranja Dam. These services enable real-time monitoring of water quality through automated systems that continuously collect samples, perform physical and chemical analyses, and transmit the results instantly to a central database. The data supports decision-making and helps relevant authorities monitor water quality with high precision and efficiency.

It is worth noting that since 2010, the project has been internationally accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) in accordance with the international laboratory accreditation standard ISO 17025. This represents the world’s first accreditation of its kind for such a project. The National Project for Remote Water Quality Monitoring is considered one of the key national initiatives supporting the efforts of the Ministries of Environment, Health, Water and Irrigation, and Agriculture, as well as Miyahuna Company, under the supervision of a steering committee chaired by the Ministry of Environment.
