أبرمت وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية وشركة ڤرس VRS، صانعة الأعمال والشريك الاستراتيجي لشركة زوهو Zoho، شركة التكنولوجيا العالمية الرائدة مذكرة تفاهم تهدف إلى فتح سبل التعاون المشترك لتعزيز تبني التكنولوجيا في قطاع الأعمال وترسيخ مكانة الأردن كوجهة رائدة في قطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في المنطقة.

وتهدف الاتفاقية التي وقعها وزير الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة احمد الهناندة و رئيس زوهو في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا حيدر نظام و مؤسس ورئيس شركة ڤرس VRS السيد عبدالله مندو والتي جرت على هامش اعمال منتدى الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات للشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا MENA ICT Forum الذي أقيم في نهاية العام الماضي في الاردن اتاحة وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة لمجتمع الشركات المحلية في الأردن وصولاً حصرياً لحزمة زوهو الرئيسية زوهو ون Zoho One نظام التشغيل للشركات الذي يدمج أكثر من 45 تطبيقاً في منصة مفردة موحدة وبموجب ذلك ستحصل الشركات على رصيد ضمن محفظة زوهو يمكنها استخدامه في شراء حلول زوهو السحابية التي تُلبي مختلف احتياجاتها لإدارة الأعمال، كما ستعمل زوهو على تزويد أكثر من 50 ألف شركة في الأردن بأرصدة محفظة بقيمة 1000 دولار إلى جانب رصيد للخدمات الاستشارية بقيمة 5000 دولار، بما يمكن تلك الشركات من توظيف تكنولوجيا المؤسسات في رقمنة أنشطتها التجارية وتحفيز نموها. حيث يعد دمج التكنولوجيا المتقدمة، كالسحابة، ضمن قطاع الأعمال، ركيزة أساسية لتعزيز الاقتصاد الرقمي، ودفع المرونة والاستدامة على المدى الطويل.

من جانبه رحب وزير الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة احمد الهناندة بقيام شركة زوهو بافتتاح مكاتبهم على أراضي المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية واختيارها للأردن كوجهة استثمارية لتقوم بدعم الشركات الناشئة الصغيرة والمتوسطة من خلال تقديم الدعم لتلك الشركات بواسطة منتجاتهم التقنية مؤكدا على قيام وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة بتقديم الدعم اللازم لشركة زوهو ولجميع الشركات التي تهدف الى الاستثمار في الأردن والتي ستتيح خلق عدد من فرص العمل للشباب الأردني المؤهل وتدعم عملية التحول الرقمي من خلال تبني التكنولوجيا الحديثة التي تقدمها تلك الشركات.

وتقدم مؤسس ورئيس شركة ڤرس VRS السيد عبد الله مندو  خلال حفل التوقيع بالشكر من الحكومة الأردنية ممثلة بوازرة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة  ومن جمعية تكنولوجيا المعلومات “انتاج “والذين ساهموا في نجاح توقيع تلك الاتفاقية التي يرى فيها  فرصة كبيرة فيما تقدمه تقنية زوهو للاقتصاد الرقمي العربي خصوصًا مع النمو الهائل والتحول الرقمي المتسارع بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية في المنطقة وعبر الاستفادة من البيئة التقنية المتأصلة في الأردن، مؤكدا ان شراكتنا مع زوهو  ستمكن الأردن من استغلال هذا النمو الإقليمي وخلق الآلاف من فرص العمل بشكل مباشر وغير مباشر في السنوات المقبلة إيماناً منا بدور الأردن الذي يعتبر من المكونات الأساسية للاقتصاد الرقمي العربي وبالأخص مع استحداث برنامج “جوردان سورس”، والبيئة الداعمة الحالية، وبالإضافة إلى تكنولوجيا زوهو حيث سيبقى الأردن رائدا في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات في العالم العربي، و بإمكانه المنافسة على مستوى العالم.”

وأشار رئيس زوهو في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا حيدر نظام اننا سعداء بالتعاون مع وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة لإتاحة المجال أمامنا للاضطلاع بدور قيادي في تطوير المنظومة التكنولوجية في الأردن والمساهمة في تسريع وتيرة جهود التحول الرقمي للشركات، بما ينسجم مع أجندة الحكومة الرامية للتحول الرقمي. ويعكس زيادة تبني الحلول السحابية في الأردن قوة الجهود التي تقودها القيادة المحلية للنهوض بالرقمنة”.

وأضاف نظام، “عملت شركة زوهو على إرساء خارطة طريق استراتيجية لشراكة طويلة الأمد مع وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة في الأردن، والتي ستعود بالنفع الدائم والمتواصل على الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة الحجم وتساعد في دفع الاستدامة الاقتصادية لأعوام عديدة مقبلة. ويقع في جوهر هذه الشراكة التزام زوهو بتوفير الدعم المحلي للعملاء وتوسيع شبكة الشركاء وابتكار عروض مخصصة لخدمة قاعدة العملاء المتنامية بوتيرة متسارعة في الأردن”.

وتم خلال حفل التوقيع اعلان شركة زوهو عن خطط لافتتاح مكتبها الأول في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان، وذلك مطلع العام المقبل، وتوظيف كفاءات ومواهب محلية كجزء من استراتيجيتها لـ”النمو المحلي العابر للحدود”، والمتمثلة في تطوير عروض وتجارب تتماشى مع الثقافات المحلية. وتم تسهيل اتفاقية الشراكة من قبل شركة VRS كما ستعمل وزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة على توسيع نطاق فوائد هذه الشراكة لتشمل أعضاء برنامج “جوردان سورس” Jordan Source، بهدف توفير ميزة تنافسية إلى قطاع تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات شديد التنافسية وسريع النمو في الأردن.

وتحظى زوهو بمكانة فريدة لتوفيرها المنصة الأكثر شمولية وتوحيداً ومركزية للمستخدمين من أجل تمكينهم من إدارة أعمالهم بالكامل عبر السحابة، وهو ما يُغني عن الحاجة إلى تطبيقات متعددة غير متزامنة لإدارة الأعمال، والتي لا تتكامل بسلاسة مع بعضها البعض. وهذا يساعد على التخلص من مشكلة تعدد مخازن البيانات، والعقود مع موردين متعددين، ومتاعب الدمج. ومن خلال تبني نهج يركز على الخصوصية أولاً، تقدم زوهو لعملائها تجربة استخدام لا تُضاهى، بما يضمن التخزين الآمن لبياناتهم وعدم مشاركتها مع أي طرف ثالث، خاصة وأن زوهو لا تعتمد نموذج قائم على توليد الإيرادات من الإعلانات.

Jordanian Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship partners with Zoho & VRS to support Kingdom’s digital transformation

Dead Sea, Jordan – November 17, 2022 – The Jordanian Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Zoho, a leading global technology company, enabled by VRS, a venture & ecosystem builder and Zoho strategic partner. The MoU aims to bolster technology adoption in Jordan’s business sector and further cement the country’s position as a leader in the MENA region’s ICT sector.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 20th MENA ICT Forum, held at the Dead Sea, Jordan, on November 16 and 17. The agreement was signed by His Excellency Ahmad Hanandeh, the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Hyther Nizam, President MEA at Zoho, and Abdullah Mando, the founder and CEO of VRS.

As part of this agreement, the ministry’s Jordan Source program will provide Jordan’s local business community with exclusive access to Zoho’s flagship suite, ‘Zoho One,’ an operating system that unifies more than 55 applications under a single, easy-to-use platform. Zoho is offering $1,000 of wallet credit and $5,000 of consultation credit to more than 50,000 businesses operating or setting up in Jordan, enabling them to avail enterprise technology in order to digitize their business and catapult their growth.

Jordan Source—a program operating under the ministry that aims to elevate the Kingdom’s international profile as an ICT investment destination, while putting a spotlight on the country’s local ICT talents—will also support Zoho and VRS as they establish their presence in Jordan in early 2023. In collaboration with Jordan Source, VRS will enable Zoho tap into the local talent pool providing hiring and business support services for the company and helping Zoho fulfill its ‘transnational localism’ strategy, which is rooted in developing offerings and experiences that align and engage with local cultures.

Commenting on the occasion, His Excellency Ahmad Hanandeh said, “As Jordan continues to rapidly elevate its profile as a major ICT hub, we remain actively committed to driving the Kingdom’s digital transformation on all levels. At the ministry, one of our strategic objectives is to support businesses across all sectors in their efforts to adopt digital tools, technologies, and processes, allowing them to enhance their operations in ways that enable them to better compete on an international scale. We are proud to partner with Zoho in support of this goal, and we look forward to supporting them as they set up their own operations in the Kingdom—a process that will be seamlessly facilitated through our Jordan Source program.”

On behalf of the partnership, Abdullah Mando, thanked His Majesty the King of Jordan, and all the stakeholders including Amjad Swais of Int@j, the MoDEE team, HE Mr. Hanandeh and both Hyther Nizam & Prem Anand, from the Zoho MEA leadership.

“We see great potential in Zoho’s offering to the Arab economy, especially with the exponential growth and demand led by Saudi Arabia in the region. By taking advantage of Jordan’s organic digital ecosystem, our partnership will position Jordan to take advantage of the regional growth and create thousands of jobs directly indirectly in the upcoming years,” said Mando.

Businesses in Jordan benefiting from the partnership will be able to use their Zoho credit balance to

purchase Zoho’s cloud-based solutions, which address a wide variety of business needs. Integrating this kind of advanced technology into the business sector is a key pillar to boosting the digital economy and driving resilience and long-term sustainability.

“We are pleased to collaborate with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to lead the way in advancing Jordan’s tech ecosystem and contributing to the acceleration of business’ digital transformation efforts, in line with the long-term National Digital Transformation agenda.
